About The Hyde

A calm, private space where skin therapy and deep rest come together. Created with intention, shaped by experience, and designed for how you want to feel.

The Beginning

I’ve worked in the beauty and skin industry for over 26 years, and I’ve been self-employed for the past 16 of those. I was incredibly proud of my previous salon, which in 2024 won the the Muddy Stilletos Beauty Therapy Award for Best Salon in Hampshire & Isle of Wight. It was such a special moment, recognition of years of dedication, care, and genuine love for what I do.

But the hotel I was based in sold and I suddenly found myself needing a new home for my business. Interestingly, Headlands came to me through my clients. Several of them mentioned how the setting seemed to suit me, how it felt aligned with my energy and the calm, nature-led experience I’d always tried to create. They could see it before I fully could and when I visited, something just clicked.

As I’ve grown, not only as a therapist but as a woman, as a mum, I’ve become very clear on what I need in order to do my best work. I need nature. I need birdsong and a sense of stillness. I need a space where I can thoughtfully control every detail so that my clients feel deeply cared for, safe, and completely at ease.

The Hyde was born from that knowing.

The Ethos

Thoughtful treatments, quiet surroundings, and care that goes beyond skin.

A quiet shepherd’s hut nestled under the trees, in front of the lake at Headlands Farm. A calm, private space where skin therapy and nervous system support come together. It’s somewhere to step away from the noise, to exhale, to be held in unhurried care. A place to quite literally hide away for a while.

The ethos of Headlands and the warmth of the owners aligned so naturally with my own values. It doesn’t feel like I simply moved location… it feels like I arrived.

The Hyde is more than a treatment room. It’s the evolution of everything I’ve learned, refined, and believed in over the years. A slower, more intentional way of working. A space that reflects who I am now, and how I want my clients to feel.

Come and hide away. Watch the birds. Let it become your own little sanctuary.

My Approach

My approach is centred around treating the whole person, not just their skin.
I guide my clients to feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin.

My philosophy is progressive, not aggressive.

I believe skin responds best when it feels safe, not shocked. Real change comes from supporting the skin gently, consistently, and with intention.

I look beyond the surface, considering stress, tension, and energy, because often what you need isn’t what you initially ask for.

This isn’t about fixing flaws.
It’s about building confidence, balance, and long-term skin health.
